Graffiti can be reported 24 hours a day by calling the Police Department’s non-emergency telephone line at (805) 473-4511 or by emailing a request to the Public Works Department at publicworks.groverbeach.org
Once graffiti is reported to Public Works Department, every attempt will be made to abate the graffiti within 48 hours of reporting. The Public Works Department employees will remove graffiti by sandblasting and/or painting the surface in a color matched as closely as possible to the original surface color.
Rapid and continuous removal within 24 to 48 hours is proven to be the most effective way to deter against graffiti vandalism. Taking preventive measures can deter graffiti vandalism even further.
